These people tend to mistake insults for arguments. A natural thing for a country whose experience of life is usually 'slapstick'. Just check out any american site and check out the comments. Check out british sites and you normally get arguments with a little bit of insults. But you fellas wouldn't know that as you seldom expose yourselves to anything other than 'american'.
British sites tend to talk about what goes on all over the world. American sites tend to just talk about themselves. But being american, your probably don't that do yer?
oh yeah, you do get smart americans, but that's rare as hell and usually happens when they are exposed to ideas other than american.
That's also why you can actually think that this is an 'excellantly educational blog'. Little things please little minds. It's alright, not excellant as an 'educational blog'.
Howie starts off with some remarks with little justification. And then the ball gets rolling in the comments section....unfortunately, very soon, its the shit that starts flowing with all the unjustified insults and vulgarities.
I think Howie should just delete all those 'comments' that are just plain vulgar like that Pros' Whisperer and Lisa. The first, just talks sex without making any point. The second just insults with vulgarities without and justification. Leave this kind of examples up and you risk letting the other juvenile heads take their line from them and actually end up helping get dumber.
Freedom of speech is great, but that doesn't mean letting someone use it just to release a whole volley of insults without any justification. Freedom of speech is for humans, NOT barking dogs.
Hello Howie. Leaving your ranting rhetoric out of this for a moment, how in the world do you achieve a 3.8 GPA when you are apparently unable to cobble together a compound sentence? Although the question of whether or not you remain a virgin is amusing, the more pressing query on all of our minds really ought to be, do you know what a semicolon is? Have you ever heard, pray tell, of the gerund? Certainly you are familiar with the great and majestic italic, but you seem not to be on speaking terms with the synonym, as a distressing number of your posts use the same tired phrasing. Your limp and limited lexicon, to become temporarily alliterative, has become wearing.
I do not intend this as advertisement for my blog; however, Howie, I invite you and you alone to stop by, so that I may parse you further.

First off, there are no tuition fees at Universities in Ireland. Anyone can go to third level college.
Secondly, everyone in the country is entitled to public health care. The same cardiologist doing a bypass in a private clinic is doing a dozen a week in a public hospital where the operation is free. (The system and standards are even higher in France.) And we're a small country with only 4 million people. But we contribute more PER CAPITA of Gross National Income to overseas development aid than the United States. We also contributed more PER CAPITA, to the tsunami victims, than the United States.
The arrogance (mainly of Republicans) on this blog amazes me.
